Mermaid "Shell" Glitter Bombs are here at last! We used our Clear Signature Series Hard Wax to infuse high grade holographic, cosmetic glitter and molded it into a Shell "Bomb" to make your Glitter Wax! Want to make your wax glittery? All bombs are made with our Signature Series hard wax which is vegan friendly and allergen free. The glitter stays suspended in the wax so there is no fear of leaving glitter behind on your clients skin.  We've test this process hundreds of times and keeping the glitter suspended in the wax from the start is the way to go.  Introducing loose glitter in your salon will always result in some of the glitter not making it into your wax.  We don't recommend this tactic.  However, Glitter Wax is Glitter Wax in the end, so do you boo boo! If you rather be smart, instead play it safe with our glitter bomb!  We've infused just the right amount of glitter in one bomb per 5lbs of melted wax.  If your pot is smaller just break the bomb in half.  Too much glitter wax won't hurt, it's just wasteful.  Too little isn't bad either, we've just found the right amount of glitter for the perfect effect of sparkle.  Feel free to play it to suit your desired look.

Keep in mind, these shell bombs are strictly for fun! The glitter has no purpose other than making the wax look prettier.

Warning: STIR!  And don't leave your pot on overnight!!!  Your glitter will settle if you don't stir at least a couple times per hour while your pot is on.  A little stirring is recommended even if you don't use glitter.  Be like a pro and stir and leave your pot off when unattended.

The Mermaid is almost universally found throughout human mythologies from Europe to The Far East and in between.  These beautiful, enchanting creatures have captivated the imagination of mankind through the ages. Mermaid Wax was inspired by these magnificent tales and intends to carry on the tradition of their irresistible and fierce nature through our line of hair removal products.

Mermaid Wax is made by an Esthetician, for Estheticians. We strive to offer only the highest quality products to ensure your waxing experience is superior to all others. Our hair removal waxes, are safe to use from head to toe and remove both fine and coarse hair from the root.

  1. Pour wax beads into a professional wax warmer.
  2. Heat up the wax until the consistency is creamy such as honey or molasses (normally takes about 20-30 minutes depending on the size of warmer).
  3. Test temperature of wax on the inside of your wrist.
  4. Always use a new spatula for each application -NO DOUBLE DIPPING! Using the edge of a wax spatula, apply a thin layer of wax in the direction of the hair growth using smooth and firm pressure.
  5. Wait a couple of seconds for the wax to cool. Stretch the skin tight during removal. Remove wax in one quick, swift motion parallel to the surface of the skin in the opposite direction of the hair growth.
  6. Repeat as needed.

Note: Normally only one application is needed for each area. If necessary, a cleanup strip should remove any "stragglers" left behind.   Rarely will you need to use a third application over the same area if you're using the wax properly.   • Do not microwave; heat using wax warmer
  • Do not use on open wounds, cuts, or sores
  • Do not use if clients are using Accutane, Retin A or any skin thinning substance.
  • Stay out of the sun & avoid hot water for 24 hours after hair removal treatment.
  • Some neon waxes can get "burned." The uv brighteners & colorant will turn to clear if this wax is burned. Do not turn your pot all the way up and leave it! And I would not leave your warmer on overnight, ever. Definitely not with neon waxes. The wax itself will be perfectly fine, just clear.
