Mermaid Wax Influencer & Ambassador Program

Influencers & Ambassadors will be given a unique discount code for their followers/fans 1st purchase of Mermaid Wax. The code offers 20% off any/all Mermaid Wax products excluding BULK [not 44lb or 88lb options], not combinable with other discount codes.

This discount will apply to all qualifying products in their first purchase. For instance, if they order 88lbs of wax as well as 22lbs of wax, they will receive 20% off the 22lbs of wax, just not the 88lbs.

Qualifying purchases must be considered a “valid purchase” i.e. valid payment method, no chargebacks, other accounts, etc. The offer applies to the first purchase of Mermaid Wax for that individual (or address, family), not necessarily the “account.” Cannot create multiple accounts, new email addresses, family member’s names, etc. -considered Discount Fraud.

Influencer 8%

Influencers receive a royalty of 8% on all purchases made from a qualified new customer referral account for 45 days from the first purchase.

Unlike the discount code for your followers, your royalty applies to more than just one purchase, if more purchases are made within 45 days from the first purchase.

The royalty also DOES apply to any Bulk purchases (44lbs or 88lbs) even though the referred will not receive a discount.

Ambassador 10%

Ambassadors receive a royalty of 10% on all purchases made from a qualified new customer referral account for 45 days from the first purchase.

Account Set-up

The system should have emailed you a link to sign into your Mermaid Wax Influencer or Ambassador Account (at website: uppromote.com). Please click the link to login to your account. Please use the password provided and as suggested, set up a new password.

Once you login…

You’ll find yourself at the Dashboard. On the main dashboard you see the Affiliate Link & Coupon.

We highly recommend setting up a custom Affiliate Link. Business name or your name is great! Use this sharable link wherever and whenever you would like, allowing your fans & followers to click this link and find mermaidwax.com

Affiliate Coupon aka Discount Code

We highly recommend setting up a custom Affiliate Coupon. Business name or your name is great! Use this discount code wherever and whenever you would like, allowing your fans & followers to copy the code and enter it at checkout in the “discount code” field and receive 20% off their order. They will see the discount applied (subtracted) from the total BEFORE they complete payment.

Settings Tab

The left hand navigation column has several tabs including the Settings Tab. The biggest thing you don’t want to miss is the Profile section found at "Settings > Profile" This you will use to input your personal/business info; address, business name, weblinks, etc. Please be sure to do this so that we can follow you on IG, FB, X, YT, etc

Getting Paid

There are 2 main steps to getting paid; W9 & setting up Direct Deposit. You choose how to get paid, you can use (as applicable):

Your name and personal checking account
Your Sole Proprietor name & business checking account
Your LLC name & business checking account

W9

Please fill out and email us the W9. Without this we won’t be able to finish setting up your account or release any payments. (click here to download) send to support@mermaidwax.com as well as save for later to upload to your profile on our Payroll Provider; Intuit Quickbooks.

Direct Deposit

Once you've earned a payout you'll be emailed directly from our Payroll Provider Intuit Quickbooks (check spam). For your safety and security you'll click the link in the email to set up your profile for Direct Deposit. Keep in mind, they'll ask for a copy of your filled out W-9.

Payout Schedule

The Influencer & Ambassador payout schedule is quarterly within 10 business days of the first of each month; January 1st, April 1st, July 1st, October 1st.

Remember, in order for us to release funds we’ll need you to properly fill out and return the W9 & setup your Direct Deposit Profile w/Intuit Quickbooks. We will confirm with you once your account is fully set up for payouts.

What if I don't have a bank account for direct deposit?

You can participate in the Influencer or Ambassador program, but you will not be able to receive payments. aka non-paid Influencer/Ambassador

What if I don't have a TIN/SS# for the W9?

You can participate in the Influencer or Ambassador program, but you will not be able to receive payments. aka non-paid Influencer/Ambassador

What if I don't or no longer use Mermaid Wax, but want to be an Influencer or Ambassador?

Currently, Mermaid Wax has no interest in non-user Ambassadors or Influencers.

What if my follower makes a purchase without clicking my link or using my code?

There is no way to track or prove that sale, thus you will not qualify for compensation, unfortunately.

How do I move up to the next Ambassador level?

Ambassador levels are acheived through your lifetime orders with Mermaid Wax. Higher level qualifications are only shared with those Mermaids "on the deck" of said level. For instance Gold Members are privy to Platinum Partner qualifications.
