The following Instructions For Use & 5 Year Limited Warranty information is valid for all Mermaid Wax Industrial Grade Wax Warmers which are MADE IN THE USA; Goliath 12lb, Hercules 5.5lb, & Baby Goliath 4lb models.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

Check your wax warmer for any damage during shipping.  Please report any damages with accompanied images/video to support@mermaidwax.com

WARNING: DO NOT LEAVE WARMER ON WHILE UNATTENDED; FIRE HAZARD, VOID WARRANTY, DAMAGE PARTS, DAMAGE WAX

Note: Mermaid Wax warmers are intended for use with Mermaid Wax products only, warranty will be voided by use with other wax products. (see below)

1. BEFORE USE: Plug unit into a NON-GFCI outlet that meets the proper voltage requirements. (check tag on back of unit to reference exact requirements) Prior to using a GFCI outlet or GFCI circuit breaker run the EMPTY wax warmer on a non-GFCI outlet or circuit breaker for 24 hours at 250 degrees Fahrenheit or #5 on a 1-10 dial (half power/heat). This will bake out any moisture from our heaters, it will NOT harm the warmer.  If you are tripping GFCI outlets or breakers this step must be followed before putting the unit into service.  If using the warmer on a standard (non-GFCI) circuit or breaker, simply plug-in the warmer and use. 
2. The unit has a red indicator light that is wired to turn on when heat is being supplied (heating up) and turn off when the thermostat has determined the heat has reached the set temperature.
3. It is not recommended to use the warmer with a timer control or other remote control device.  NEVER LEAVE THE WARMER UNATTENDED. 
4. Be careful not to overheat wax. This is not your everyday warmer, this warmer will get hotter than smaller units you may have used in the past and can cause a fire if wax is overheated for too long.
5. Keeping the cover in place will allow for faster warming times and lower energy use.
6. It is recommended to use protective gear when working with the warmer and hot wax.  Protective eyewear, gloves, and long sleeves are encouraged.
7. Remember to stir regularly to allow even melting of wax & keep clumps from occurring.
8. Test wax heat on a small area of the inside of your arm before use on the client to ensure correct temperature.

Mermaid Wax will repair this warmer once free of charge in the event of defect(s) in parts or workmanship.

DURATION: 5 Years

PARTS AND LABOR: Mermaid Wax will provide the labor without charge, and will provide parts to replace defective parts without charge for 5 years from the date of original purchase. Purchaser is required to prepay all shipping charges to/from Mermaid Wax (or Mermaid Wax authorized repair center) for the repair.

LIMITS AND EXCLUSIONS: 5 Year Limited Warranty voided by use of warmer with any wax products not provided by Mermaid Wax. Again, use of wax brands other than Mermaid Wax with this warmer will void your warranty! Various methods including, but not limited to, the Purchaser’s mermaidwax.com account buying history will be referenced to validate proper use. Mermaid Wax LLC has sole discretion in final determination of proper use.

This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser, proof of original purchase will be required together with the warmer to obtain service under this warranty. This warranty shall not be extended to any other person or transferee.

Warranty is considered fulfilled upon conclusion of the 5 year time period from the date of purchase or after part has been replaced.  The 5 Year Warranty covers replacement of parts or entire warmer one time free of charge (less shipping as stated previously).  ie If replacement power cable is provided as covered under warranty another instance of power cable replacement will be at the full cost of customer, however other parts of warmer are still warrantied.

This warranty is void and of no effect if warmer is left on while unattended. The warmer is intended to be used during normal business hours.

This warranty is void and of no effect if any serial numbers or build dates on the wamer are altered, replaced, defaced or missing.

This warranty is void and of no effect if service was attempted by the purchaser or any unauthorized service center.

This warranty only covers failures due to defects in parts or workmanship which occurs during normal use. It does not cover damage which occurs in shipment, or failures which are caused by repairs, alterations or product not supplied by Mermaid Wax, or from incidental or consequential damage, i.e. damage which results from accident, misuse, abuse, mishandling, misapplication, alteration, faulty installation, improper maintenance or damage which results from fire, flood, lightning or other acts of God.

Mermaid Wax shall in no event be liable for any general, indirect or consequential damages arising out of or occasioned by the use of or the inability to use this product. This warranty is made in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, and of all other liabilities of the part of Mermaid Wax. All other warranties including the warranty of merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose are hereby disclaimed by Mermaid Wax.

All warranty inspections and repairs must be performed by Mermaid Wax.

The warmer must be accompanied by a copy of the original purchase receipt. If no proof of purchase is attached, the warranty will not be honored and repair costs will be charged.

ATTENTION: Mermaid Wax reserves the right to modify any design of this warmer and/or warranty without prior notice.
