How To "Un-Block" Blocks of Wax Beads

A Mermaid's "Trick" to help you easily make your unusable bag, um, er, uh BLOCK of wax beads break apart. -and fast!

Has this happened to you?

How are all my Mermaids enjoying this hot weather? It's not all bar-b-ques, S'mores, sandals & beaches. There's also some unexpected "chop" with that summer breeze. With this heat,  some poor Mermaids receive their packages with the wax beads baked into a solid block. Ugh, not fun!

Whether it's due to sitting in a mailbox or doorstep for too long or the time it spent with the Carrier alone was the cause, wax will melt. Unfortunately, this is the hottest time of the year and when the wax beads are exposed to it, they will stick together while still inside the bag.

Just an fyi, even at room temperature, with pressure from the weight of stacking, the beads will stick together at times.

SO WHAT’S THE TRICK??

Place the entire package in the freezer for 30-45 minutes, then break them apart like peas.

I've even slammed them on the table and they easily fall apart when they're cold. Just imagine it’s your ex  ;)

ADDITIONALLY…

Keep in mind; the temperature outside will affect your wax more than you know. If it's hot outside, your a/c will be running inside your room, causing the wax to more easily be cooler. This also happens if you have a fan on in your room so the circulation of the air can also cool your wax down. To counteract this, I'll make my warmer slightly warmer. If the weather is cooler outside, most likely the heater will be on in your room/building. This can make your wax warmer so I suggest turning your wax warmer down just a little bit.
