The previous soft wax I was using was phenomenal but unfortunately can only be obtained if you work for the company. I recently opened my own studio, So I was on the hunt for something comparable or better! It needed to be good for sensitive skin and free of typical allergens. And I found JUST THAT! The Persephone soft wax heats up at a low temperature, goes on so smooth and leaves minimal residue. Me and my clients have been loving it. It’s also so pretty to look at! Will definitely be using this wax from now on! Highly recommend if you prefer soft wax!

Persephone wax works great, and is pleasing to look at! I am a soft wax specialist and I love how the formula works. Honestly I wasn’t sure how it was going to be since Mermaid wax caters to hard wax users, and I am more comfortable with soft wax. I had to order more since I raised my prices and I believe this wax is perfect quality.

I have used Relax N Wax's cream wax for a few years now but wanted to try something different. The formula is more sticky than what I'm used to, but it gets the hair off clean each pull! As long as the bulk prices stay reasonable I will rebuy. I'd also be interested if they ever came out with a hypoallergenic cream variety ☺️✨

This wax is AMAZING. I use to use cirepil and I hated it so much. My clients & I noticed a huge difference in the wax. They agree that mermaid wax is much better and causes little to no irritation for it being soft wax. Highly recommend this as a fellow Esthetician.

I like it, it melts super fast, less than 10 min. I tried it on my legs since I have the most sensitive skin on the planet -.- and it gave no reaction! HOWEVER I’ve used it on the brows for two of my clients, I used an oil as the skin protectant, and it irritated them. So I will stick to using their hard wax for eyebrows! I’ll try the soft wax for the stache and see if it’s irritating or not!

I purchased this on a whim. It was recommended to me by an esthetician who specializes in exclusively waxing and told me I'd really enjoy the Sirena hard wax especially since I don't like doing one strip at a time. When I was picking that up I thought, "Hey that's an incredibly reasonable price, why don't I try the soft wax?" And then I bought it. Soft wax and I have a complicated relationship, but this one really surprised me. Melts incredibly quickly and barely left me red. It is pretty sticky, but as long as you use some post epilation oil, it's not really a problem. Highly recommend, bonus points for it being pretty.

Packaging could definitely be better especially for the price. A lot of cans were dented and one can is unusable. I’ve used one can already it’s a very beautiful wax, but I’ve used better in the short three years as an esthetician. Would love to try the hard wax because my clients did say this wax felt better on their skin, so that’s a plus.

I love the hard wax signature series. I tried the pink soft wax and it does remove hair well, however there is so much sticky residue left behind. Oil removal & cleansing was required to completely remove.

I was not happy with the pink soft wax, after applying the wax and removing it, it leaves behind an extremely sticky situation. Yes, soft wax is a bit sticky, but I’m talking overly sticky! I love the hard wax, but I will not be ordering the soft wax again. Also they are not taking returns or exchanges so be cautious, once you buy it your stuck with it.

This brand of wax is exceptional. Especially if you are a newby to waxing. The soft wax works supurbbbbbly on face (everywhere really), and I love the ease of the hard wax on everything below the Mason/Dixon line.

I was a little weary about purchasing this soft wax because it is almost twice as much as the wax I’m used to using. But the wax itself is very good quality and you don’t have to use hardly any of it so I’m actually saving money! Leg waxes are a breeze now that I have this stuff. Okay so I use mainly hard wax (shout out to the signature series) BUT I use soft for legs and backs. When mermaid dropped a soft wax I was so excited and immediately bought it. I LOVE working with this wax and my clients absolutely love it. I even tried a little on myself for my arms (usually I just use the cheaper wax on myself and save the goods for the clients) but holy crap I noticed a HUGE difference in the pain level but also my skin afterwards. I tell people I can’t function without mermaid wax because it’s just the only wax I know what to fully expect from and work so well with, it’s like a relationship I’m never willing to let go of. Love love love this wax ❤️

I typically use hard wax for all my services but I will use soft wax to to clean up for straight edges. I tried out the wax on my eyebrows WOW! One strip pulled all the hairs. I also tried an underarm wax and same thing all hairs pulled the first strip. Beautiful wax and I love that it doesn’t have to heat too hot to be effective. So glad Mermaid wax has both hard and soft wax now. Love them both.

The only thing I did not like was that it goes on clear. It’s hard to see unless the light is catching the glitter. I’m sure I’ll get used to it but just wish there was more pigment to use as a guide
