Take A DiveLooking for the best hypoallergenic hard wax? With how many different types of hard waxes that are available on the market, it can be difficult to know which one is best for sensitive skin. Not all hard waxes are created equal, so the only way to know you are getting a high quality hard wax is to look at the ingredients.
The main ingredient to watch out for is Colophonium, also called rosin; see the National Institutes of Health Literature on the topic. Colophonium is a universally recognized allergen that is obtained by distillation of oil from trees of the pine family. Colophonium is used in makeup, medicines, toiletries, household items, recreational equipment, adhesives, and many more products.
Waxes that contain Colophonium are not recommended for people with sensitive skin. Rosin can cause a potential ACD or allergic contact dermatitis. This means the skin will become inflamed, red and is generally itchy. Because of this allergen, we recommend anyone with sensitive skin to stick to a wax that is free of Colophonium.
Our Signature Series is a low temperature hard wax formulation that is perfect for even the most sensitive skin. This wax contains no Colophonium or animal-derived products, therefore it is the ONLY hard wax that is both Hyproallergenic/allergen free and vegan friendly. Signature Series is produced with only the highest quality synthetic resins, waxes, and polymers.

Another great article on Colophonium, allergens, and sensitive skin. Being a vegan, it’s a non-negotiable to not read the ingredients list, I would be derelict to my clients by not doing so. My wax studio is based on using clean products and removing the stigma about your method of choice for hair removal on your body.

I’m in school to become an aesthetician. I would like to purchase your products, but don’t know if I am in the proper location to do so. Could you please instruct me on how to get the proper pricing as a professional? I want to the proper page would be great!
