Poseidon

Introducing Poseidon

Poseidon is a deep purple, glitter infused, premium hard wax from our Pro Series collection. Poseidon is a polymer blend of natural rosin derivatives, waxes, and synthetic materials. Our Pro Series is comparable to (insert Major Brand)'s pink or blue film polymer blend formulations, albeit much more elastic. Poseidon is ideal for the entire body; fine and coarse hair alike. That's right, this wax can do it all! We've worked on increasing the tensile strength of this wax so it doesn't break as often as (insert Major Brand), even on loose skin. Since it can be removed quickly after applying, this wax is great for speed or power waxers. Beginners note: The Pro Series isn't as forgiving as the Signature Series.

Story

In Greek Mythology he was known as the “God of the Sea.” Poseidon was the brother to Zeus (God of the Sky) & Hades (God of the Underworld), & father of Triton, a merman. He is one of the most recognizable & powerful Greek Gods, ruling over both land & sea. We chose Poseidon to represent this wax because he is a God connected to dry land. Since this wax is our fastest cooling wax while still remaining elastic, Poseidon is the best of both worlds (land & sea)!

Use

Pour wax beads into a professional wax warmer.
Heat up the wax until the consistency is creamy such as honey or molasses (normally takes about 20-30 minutes depending on the size of warmer).
Test temperature of wax on the inside of your wrist.
Always use a new spatula for each application -NO DOUBLE DIPPING! Using the edge of a wax spatula, apply a thin layer of wax in the direction of the hair growth using smooth and firm pressure.
Wait a couple of seconds for the wax to cool. Stretch the skin tight during removal. Remove wax in one quick, swift motion parallel to the surface of the skin in the opposite direction of the hair growth.
Repeat as needed.

Note: Normally only one application is needed for each area. If necessary, a cleanup strip should remove any "stragglers" left behind. Rarely will you need to use a third application over the same area if you're using the wax properly. We have a variety of online training or email support@mermaidwax.com for more help.

I really enjoy Poseidon, it’s so gentle, sets up quickly and works great for numerous services or mixed in with signature to allow for more versatility. My only complaint is because I do like mixing it, the color always looks Gray or muddy when mixed with signature series. It is beautiful on its own but I would absolutely love to have more color choices with Poseidon like we have with signature. Maybe just White, like Aurora or clear if possible so it can be mixed with any signature color and still look good. Clearly it is a great wax if that is my only concern! You’ve clearly spoiled us with all the signature choices!
